MVB Guided Church Backpacking 2 Nights: Alaska Basin (Tetons)

Alaska Basin in the Tetons. Don’t miss an incredible wilderness experience in the amazing Jedediah Smith Wilderness bordering Gran Teton National Park. This 3 day, 2 night trip is open to anyone, and was so popular last year we are Guiding it twice this year! This is the most challenging and strenuous backpacking trip of the season, 17 miles round trip with an elevation gain of 2,500’, NOT including day hikes to climb Static Peak, experience Hurricane Pass and the Sheep Steps.

The drive to the trailhead at Teton Canyon is 3.5-4 hours, we will depart at Heritage Christian School at 6AM on Friday, and return by 5-6PM on Sunday.
